Alan R. Martin was born in Germany. His mother was a full-blooded German. Alan’s father was a lifer in the Army and was stationed in Germany. As a child, he played baseball, football, and some basketball. His family moved around a lot.

Alan started writing or perhaps storytelling when he retired. He has been in too many occupations to list. Eventually, Alan retired from the state of Missouri as a stationary engineer.
